design approach

With this project I think that every little element of the building should relate back to each other and become one whole system. Not only should the physical elements work together, but the design process, function and tectonic should as well. These diagrams show my linear and cyclical thinking behind the design development phase, before the actualy physical designing of the building has taken place.

I have gone from a process of capturing an initial idea to creating a new but completely related design concept, conducted site analysis to establish a building function to what the site and the concept 'need', research biomimicry approaches and tie everything together with a certain building function.
